That means somebody who is not us can freeze the equity after we have paid it to you, and can create more of it. We did not find this hidden — it is on the mint, and this table is what reading it looks like.

§3   THE ONE BLACK BAR ON THIS SITE

The file this design answers renders every figure as a black bar, and then says in its own words: “if a field stays redacted, the feed is having a moment.” So one mark carries two meanings — we are withholding this and we could not load it — and a reader cannot tell which. They are opposites. One is a decision about them; the other is a fact about us.

Those two bars are the only ones on this site, and they are an illustration. In this codebase there is no way to write “withheld” at all: the type has two states and no third, and scripts/check-figure.mjs writes the cheat out as TypeScript and fails the build if the compiler accepts it.

It is not a yield.

Nothing is minted to pay you and nothing is taken from anybody who holds. A round is a share of the trading fees the token itself generated, and if there is no trading there is no round.

It is not custody.

The equity you are paid is a Backed or PreStocks token, and every one of them has a live mint and freeze authority held by somebody who is not us. We name them on the rotation page rather than leave you to find out.

It is not trustless.

The fees land in a wallet we control before they are distributed, and whoever holds that key could take them. That address, its type and its signature count are on the keeper page, in the same table as everything else.

It is not complete.

It shows what it read, at the slot it read it. Where a read failed the figure says so and prints the call that failed, so you can run it yourself and see whether it is the endpoint or us.
